Shift is a family of ash seats made up of the lounge armchair. The project plays to elegantly deconstruct the relationship between frame, seat and backrest, giving each element a defined identity. The large seat, slipped forward, seems to rest cantilevered on the structure. The elements of the frame fit together in a particular way, suggesting the idea of natural ramifications.
