The design of the Twigs bookcase plays on the alternation between geometric order and natural randomness. The order is marked by the regular rhythm of the wooden shelves, while the element of randomness is brought into play by the load-bearing structure made up of thin metal tubes, arranged at an irregular cadence and inclination, which can recall a reeds moved by the wind. Thanks to its eclectic style, the bookcase designed by Marconato & Zappa can also fit into the most informal furnishing contexts.
