Conversational Objects, previewed at Milan Design Week, is the second collaboration between Alessi and Virgil Abloh. A 16-piece cutlery set, supplied in tandem with a matte-finish cutlery tray that resembles a threaded bolt, is born from the designer's passion for tradition and good food. Imagining the dining table as a theater for a dialogue. Conversational Objects encourages discussion and relationship development around the communal meal ritual. Consisting of a 16-piece matt finish stainless steel cutlery set and matching mechanically inspired cutlery tray, reinforcing the union between design and industrial assembly typical of Alessi.
